The key, therefore, in establishing credible law school rankings in the Philippines, is to emphasize scholarly pursuits and to provide better facilities for students and the faculty, .@lawstudentsPH want to do something on the side so that I can feel na may gumagalaw sa buhay ko outside of law school. ang tagal din kasi ng ROI ng law school 😅😅. would appreciate if may leads . r/lawstudentsphUP Law is my first choice. It's probably an all or nothing type of situatuon, but i understand that i need to have other options aside from there. I'd call myself an average student. 89-90 average, pero literal na bobo sa math. So, i don't know if i have the brains to actually get in first. My family isn't very wealthy too, so if i were to .Guys, any pre-law course is acceptable in law school as long as you graduate a 4 year course in college. Although there are advantages of different courses in college when you enter law, you are all in equal footing. Sure, Accountancy, for example, has a lot of law subjects, but you could surpass them by studying and discipline.

Faculty line-up, definitely ADMU and UP are top-tier. Pero it doesn't really matter that much. Most instructors don't teach. Schools I would highly recommend: ADMU, UP, Arellano (low passing rate but flexible for working students and less toxic), San Beda College Alabang (happiest law school daw but low passing rate).Siguro on the average I render 10-12 hrs a day, leaving me little time to study. Saktuhan lang grades ko, pumapasa pero hindi bagsak or nasa laylayan. A prof told me that the big firms invite the highest ranking students of the batch even before grad as underbars. Wow, dito pa lang talo na ako. Nanlumo ako.
Instead of adding more years, PH legal ed should be reduced instead to the standard 3 years like in foreign schools because surprisingly, law students there don't take at least 15 units per semester, read overwhelmingly voluminous court cases, and stand in front of the prof for recit every class session.lanshufen. Hello OP, UST Law student here. I didn't take the entrance exam because I got in during the pandemic so philsat and interview lang ako. One of my senior friends told me that the exam is similar with philsat but with addition of general knowledge. For the interview, it depends on who's your interviewer.
Law students for clout are so annoying. I have a blockmate who is trying to be a tiktok influencer and a big part of her content is law school life. As expected of a law school tiktok influencer, they would record their recits as part of their content. I don’t really mind even if I find people who use their recits as tiktok content cringey as .I had to move back here to at least save up since it's costly to be a low income earner in Manila with a family. Nasa early 20s pa ako nun, kaya nagpabuhay lang ako sa parents ko and entered law school. Then, I was in law school for 4 years. But, damn, sayang yung 4 years. If pinag hirapan ko nalang sana aralin mag code, I could already be in .It depends. For PAO lawyers, pwede umabot sa ganyan yung salary. Check mo yung salary grade for PAO lawyers. If I remember correctly, yung Associate Lawyer I (which is the lowest rank) sa PAO is around 45k+. If non-PAO lawyer, lowest is 30k. Barat na yung sweldong ganyan. Average sweldo is around 40k-45k, ganyan usual rate around Ortigas .

Zebra Mildliners. They don’t bleed through, at least as far as I remember. Uni Propus highlighters! Very smooth on the paper and will not bleed at all so the codals look really clean. Colors are unique too. However they are pricey (100+ php) .
There are firms specifically looking for employees with PTP certification. Parang basic qualification na sya sa firms in Ortigas, Taguig etc. I got interviews from many firms, 3 JOs before I landed my current job now as a legal assistant in a corp. 5. Award. If you can, pick a startup client with little over 12 clients. 15 tops. I work GY shift but can squeeze in my readings in between. Depending sa cases, I can read around 3-6 cases per shift. That's already half of what you need for each day. You can .So what’s law school like? • Reading law books and Supreme Court cases will become your new vice. • Every day is recitation day. • All of your professor will assign at least 10-30 cases to read (example, 5 professors x 30 cases = 150 cases per week) and you will recite all of those cases next week. Repeat ad nauseam.
The beauty in our profession (as well as other professions and industries) is having the ability to practice on our own. In fact, being a solo practitioner is a career goal for some lawyers especially litigation lawyers. So even if no one wants to hire you, no one’s stopping you from taking up your own clients. If you're law-school-brand-concious, arellano is not for you. But then again, it's the #1 school that has produced the most lawyers. The professors from the red school in mendiola, the maroon school in Diliman and the blue school in Rockwell also teach in arellano. Reply reply. ComposerWinter1273.
Law Student. Many law students pursue their studies with the goal of becoming lawyers, not just to earn a JD degree. They invest in their education despite being working students or having families to support because they have a genuine desire to learn the law and pursue a career in the legal profession. Pero nakakalungkot lang malaman na may .
Brods and sisses are invited and endorsed by their brods and sisses. They’re often first in line for frat/sor dominated firms. They receive notices of vacancies from EVERYWHERE: Side hustles, teaching positions, consultancy work, from their brods/sisses. 53.UP LAE RESULTS 2024.
